Saskatchewan Skilled Worker Program Requirements – Job Offer Subcategory

Conditions :

Have a permanent full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer in one of the TEER level 0, 1, 2, 3 occupations in the Canadian Occupational Classification System or one of the specified technical occupations 1 in the province of Saskatchewan. You must also have a job confirmation letter 2.

Have at least 60 points out of 110 in the Saskatchewan Skilled Worker Program scoring system.

Have at least one year of full-time work experience in the proposed job within the last 10 years.

Have a 3 language degree with a minimum level of CLB 4 in all skills. Each exam has its own scoring system that can be converted to CLB level. To convert the scores of different language degrees to CLB, the scores of each skill must be checked.

If you are currently residing in Canada, you must have valid legal status (eg work permit or study permit).

If the proposed occupation is considered one of the occupations that require a permit or certificate from Saskatchewan4, obtain the permit.

Saskatchewan Skilled Worker Program Requirements – Job Offer Subcategory

Identity documents of the main applicant and persons under guardianship: birth certificate and marriage or divorce certificate and passport. Also, if you live in a country other than your country of citizenship, you must also provide a copy of your visa.

Letter of work experience: This letter should be on the company’s letterhead and contain information about the job title, main duties, working hours per week, and company manager information. Saskatchewan Skilled Worker Program Requirements – In-Demand Occupations Subcategory

Conditions:

For this subgroup, you must have at least one year of full-time work experience related to your field of study in one of the specialized jobs in the last 10 years. This job should be one of the most demanded jobs in the province.

Have at least 60 points out of 110 in the Saskatchewan Skilled Worker Program scoring system.

You have declared your interest in the EOI system and you have been invited in the lottery.

Have completed a training course of at least one year after high school and have received a degree. You must also provide the evaluation certificate of the academic degree 5.

Have a 3rd language qualification with at least CLB 4 level in all skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening). To convert the scores of different language degrees to CLB, the scores of each skill must be checked.

If you are currently residing in Canada, you must have legal status (eg work permit or study permit).

If the proposed occupation is one of the occupations that require a permit or certificate from Saskatchewan4, obtain the permit.

Conditions:

Be accepted in the Express Entry system and have an Express Entry profile number and Job Seeker Code.

Terms of the Tech Talent program – non-express entry

Conditions:

One of the most essential conditions of this subgroup is to have a job offer for specialized jobs in the field of technology9 from an employer in Saskatchewan.

It doesn’t matter if you live in Canada or abroad.

Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or a three-year degree from a university or college relevant to the job offer.

Meet the following language requirements:

If you are currently working for an employer who has made you a job offer, your employer will assess your language ability.

If you are not currently working for the employer who offered you the job, you must have a language score equivalent to CLB 5 or higher.

If you are applying from within Saskatchewan:

If you are applying for registration in the in-demand jobs subgroup and the experience entry subgroup, you must first register your application, for this you must register in the OASIS system and create an account. Then you need to fill out an online form and enter your information. This information includes personal information, passport information, residential address, work experience, education and language level, etc.

After completing these steps and confirming the information, your score will be shown based on the information you entered. Then you need to register your request. After this step you will enter the applicant pool at Skilled Worker Saskatchewan. Express Entry applicants must first create an Express Entry profile and then enter this step.

At this stage, the province of Saskatchewan sends invitations or Invitation to Apply (ITA) twice a month to those who have expressed interest. If you receive it, you must complete your documents in your profile in the OASIS system within 60 days and pay the fees, and then register your application and wait for the nomination of the province.

At this stage, your case will be checked to see if you have sent all the documents or not. If all submitted documents are complete, your case will move to the next stage of evaluation. If the documents or information are incomplete, the case will be closed and you will have to go through the process from the beginning.

In the evaluation stage, it is checked whether you meet the requirements of the desired program based on the documents and information entered. If the province needs more information or documents, it will be announced through your email and profile, and you have ten days to send it.

  • At this stage, if your case is approved, a provincial nomination will be issued to you. In fact, based on your conditions, the province informs the Federal Immigration Department that it needs you and therefore requests the Federal Immigration Department to grant you permanent residence after review.

In the case of job offer sub-category and in-demand job sub-category applicants, an email containing the nomination and information on how to submit documents to the Federal Immigration Service will be sent. At this point, the province of Saskatchewan will notify the immigration office that you have received a provincial nomination. You must send your paper documents to the Federal Immigration Service within 6 months. The Federal Immigration Service approves your permanent residence after review.

In the case of Express Entry subgroup applicants, the province enters your nomination information into the Express Entry system. You must accept or reject this nomination within 30 days. Then a lottery will be held for people with provincial nominations, and the Federal Immigration Department will send you an invitation to register an application. Finally, you have 60 days to register your request along with the required documents and information in your profile. The Federal Immigration Service will then approve your permanent residence after review.
