Proof of funds

Proof of funds is one of the most critical documents influencing the consular officer's decision. In fact, by submitting a letter of financial means to the consular officer, you assure that you will be able to cover the expenses in the country in question and that you will not have any problems in this regard.

The embassy of each country has announced the minimum amounts for the traveller's financial means, and these amounts are different for each country. The costs are determined based on travel expenses to and from the government, hotel or hotel accommodation costs, food expenses, transportation costs in that country, etc.

The proof of funds letter is issued by the relevant bank of each person, indicating the country's currency in question. Financial means include

  • Bank deposits and personal account balances, along with the date of account reopening,
  • The average amount is withdrawn from the account,
  • The average amount entered into the account and the difference between the two account balances.

Usually, all the amounts are stated in Rials in financial means, and the person applying for financial means must declare the desired currency according to the requested visa. Financial authorization is valid if issued by foreign exchange branches and stamped and signed by the branch manager.

Proof of funds is an English letter issued by all banks in the provincial capitals, indicating the entry and exit of the account (debtor and creditor), the account balance at the time of receipt in Rials, and the government rate of the Canadian or US dollars. Canada's temporary resident visa usually requires an average balance of the last four months. But it is better if the average balance is received for six months.

If the turnover of accounts whose balance sheet is so much or the amounts are acceptable and justifiable, the use of a translation of it is also recommended. Otherwise, the same single letter of supply (balance) will be adequate.

Canadian student visa validity period

A Canadian study permit is valid for the time you are studying, and in higher education for under-twos, you are allowed to stay for the duration of your studies, and for periods over two years or more, you have a work permit for three years after graduation.

Another 90 days allow you to prepare to leave Canada.

However, if you see that your study permit is running out and you still have to attend school to get your degree, you should apply for an extension. You must apply for a renewal at least 30 days before your expiration date. You can check the expiration date in the upper right corner of the study permit. Before applying for an extension, you must ensure that your passport is still valid.

If your passport has expired and you travel outside of Canada with an expired passport, you will no longer be allowed to enter.

If you are planning to travel outside of Canada and your study permit is about to expire, you must first renew it and then travel. If your study permit is close to being expired, do not leave Canada because the Canadian authorities will not allow you to return.

You will be allowed to stay in Canada until a final decision on whether or not to renew your permit. If your study permit has already expired and you have not applied for an extension, you must leave Canada. Then, you can apply for a new study permit from outside Canada or return to your student status.
